X-rays

X-ray devices are used extensively in industry and offer safety advantages over nuclear gauges. Common applications include food & drink scanners, security scanners, positive material identification and radiography.

Sealed sources

Nuclear gauges are commonly used for industrial process control including density, thickness and flow-rate measurements. Other applications include well-logging and moisture testing.
